When you source food products for overseas markets, certifications are not a formality — they are the difference between products clearing customs and being turned away. At J-Origin Foods, we treat compliance as a core part of our service, not an afterthought.
Every product we supply comes from factories that carry the documentation your market requires. We handle the paperwork so you don't have to.
Halal Certification
Southeast Asia is predominantly Muslim, and Halal compliance is non-negotiable for food imports into Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, and Brunei. Our factory partners hold valid Halal certifications from recognized bodies. We can provide Halal certificates upon request for any product we supply.

HACCP Certification
Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) is the international standard for food safety management. Our partner factories operate HACCP-certified production facilities, meaning every step — from raw ingredient intake to final packaging — is monitored and documented.

ISO 22000 Food Safety Management
ISO 22000 is the internationally recognized standard for food safety management systems. Partner factories supplying our core product lines carry ISO 22000 certification, demonstrating systematic control of food safety hazards across the entire supply chain.
Export Documentation
Cross-border food trade requires a specific set of documents depending on the destination market and product type. We prepare and provide all standard export documentation as part of our service.
- Certificate of Origin — issued by authorized bodies in China, confirming product origin for customs and tariff purposes
- Health Certificate / Sanitary Certificate — issued by Chinese government inspection authorities (GACC/CIQ), required for most food imports
- Phytosanitary Certificate — required for plant-based products entering markets with agricultural import controls
- Commercial Invoice & Packing List — standard trade documentation
- Bill of Lading / Airway Bill — shipping documentation
- Lab Test Reports — available for pesticide residue, heavy metals, microbiological testing upon request
Country-Specific Compliance
Different markets have different requirements. We are familiar with the import regulations of our core target markets and work proactively to ensure products meet local standards.
- Singapore — SFA (Singapore Food Agency) import requirements, including GACC registration and labeling in English
- Malaysia — MAQIS (Malaysia Quarantine and Inspection Services) requirements, Halal certification via JAKIM
- Indonesia — BPOM food import registration, Halal certification via MUI
- Thailand — FDA Thailand import requirements, labeling in Thai may be required
- Other Markets — We can advise on additional requirements for UAE, UK, Australia, and other markets
OEM & Private Label Compliance
If you are developing your own branded products through our OEM service, we handle the compliance work from the start — including ingredient review, allergen declaration, nutritional labeling, barcode registration, and packaging approval for your target market.
